Meet the Artist

Hawaii has had a huge impact on my painting. Firstly my color palette has been largely influenced by the abundance of color and texture. The rain and constant moisture promote growth, roots, water and fertility. Banyan tree roots hanging down from massive trees, lava, white coral, turquoise ocean..heavy grey rain clouds, dark caves, layers of organic material filling the senses….dense fogs up at the Volcano, delicate ferns dripping with water. Mother nature and all her fecundity. One finds it easy to step beyond and enter the world of spirit.
